Looking east towards Beacon Hill
A low bump on the edge of Orton Scar by the side of the B6260 road is about all there is to see of this monument which consists of a one metre tall mound of limestone rubble covered with a layer of earth and grass.

It is a slightly oval Bronze Age Round Cairn that measures about 17-18 metres at its longest point that is overlooked to the east by the brow of Beacon Hill with Great Asby Scar beyond. There appears to be nothing special about this monument but I've included it as it stands just over a mile northwest from the earlier Gamelands stone circle and checking the map reveals that there may just about be a sight-line between the two sites - I'll have to check this out next time I'm in the area.
