Cothiemuir Wood recumbent setting inner view
The visually impressive recumbent setting of the Cothiemuir Wood circle seen from the northwest. This is the inner face of the recumbent stone and flankers which stand to the west-southwest of the circle.
Cothiemuir Wood recumbent setting outer view
View of the outer face of the recumbent setting. There are apparently several cup marks on this face of the recumbent stone but due to the covering of moss I was unsure if they were man-made or natural.
Cothiemuir Wood recumbent setting inner view
Looking outwards from close to the centre of the circle.
Stones of the western arc of the circle
One standing, one leaning and one fallen stone that form the western arc of the circle.
