A 180 degree panorama (scroll left and right) taken from beside the carved rock at Ketley Crag. The overhanging rock that protects the carving can be seen on the far left when the view is to the southwest. Fox Covert and Crag Plantation stand to the northeast at the right of the panorama with the valley of Lyham Burn being the lower land in the foreground. Just what was it about this place that prompted such a extraordinary carving beneath the rock shelter, the view is nothing spectacular except perhaps to the west where the northern hills of the Cheviots dominate the horizon.
