Adam's Grave long barrow looking south
View of Adam's Grave long barrow from the north. The barrow is located on the summit of a hill at the southern edge of the Marlborough downs with spectacular views across the Vale of Pewsey and towards Salisbury Plain (see 360 degree panorama from the top of the barrow).
View along the northeastern ditch
The barrow is remarkable not only for its size, views and dominating presence in the landscape but also for the preservation of the lateral ditches quarried for the chalk that provided the building material for the barrow itself. This is a wide angle view southeast along the northeastern ditch.
