The panorama starts with the view looking northwards towards the dip in the land that forms the head of Osmaril Gill with the Tees Valley visible stretching to the horizon. The dark patch of land to the immediate left of the Gill is Eel Hill, the location of an unusual piece of rock art while the land to the right is the northwestern edge of How Tallon itself.
