The panorama was taken from the top of the barrow and while the vista is not spectacular it offers a 360 degree view of the gently rolling landscape with the River Bain to the west and one of its unnamed tributaries to the east. The mast of the Belmont TV transmitter can be seen just over 2 miles away to the south-southwest.
