Click and drag your mouse in the picture to scroll around the Merrivale landscape. This panorama was taken from between the two main double stone rows initially looking southwest on a extremely hot and hazy day at the end of August 2008. The outcrop of King's Tor dominates the skyline to the south with the southern double row in the foreground while some of the stones of the northern row stand to to the northwest. Beyond these in the haze on the horizon are the hills of Staple Tors and Roos Tor on the other side of the River Walkham valley.

(Red compass arrow indicates north).
