Click and drag your mouse in the picture to scroll around the Recumbent Stone Circle (RSC) of Tomnaverie. The initial view is southwest over the recumbent setting towards the Cairngorms and Lochnagar on the horizon (compass arrow indicates north). The site was excavated between 1999-2000 and partially restored afterwards with many of the smaller stones belonging to the kerb of a cairn.
