Tripsdale Bride Stones looking southwest
Although it looks like a small stone circle the Bride Stones are actually the kerb stones of a robbed round barrow. The body of the mound has been removed leaving a double ring of slabs about 10 metres in diameter, some fallen, some still standing. The view above is looking southwest towards Bilsdale West Moor on the other side of the valley of the River Seph with the tower of the Bilsdale transmitter to the top right of the photo.
