Eslie the Lesser stone circle
View looking north. Although it is sometimes listed as a recumbent stone circle (RSC) Eslie the Lesser is more likely to be an ordinary circle surrounding a ring cairn. It stands about 700 metres northeast of the genuine recumbent circle of Eslie the Greater and 900 metres north of another RSC the Nine Stanes in Mulloch Wood..
Eslie the Lesser stone circle
Looking southwest over the internal cairn and a pair of standing stones on the outer edge of the circle. Eslie the Greater can be seen as a dark horizontal line just in front of the trees to the left of centre while the hill of Kerloch stands prominently on the horizon to the left
