Stone 5f at NZ96530127 - the Hugh Kendall Stone, named after the Whitby resident who discovered it in 1936. A single groove divides this flat slab into two zones, on one side is a solitary cup while on the other a semicircular groove emerges to join with a cup and ring motif. |
Stone 5g at NZ96530127. A pair of grooves cross to form four zones across the face of the stone with a single cup in three of the quarters along with an oval pattern. The lines that form the cross haven't been cut particularly straight and why does one of the quarters have no motif? |
Stone 5h at NZ96500126 has a single cup and ring with a further six cups and a rather vague channel. |
