Brow Moor Stone 5c
Stone 5c at NZ96510131. A rounded stone with a cup and double ring motif as well as three cups towards one edge. Rather faint on the photo above is a shallow 'comb' design consisting of three short parallel grooves linked through their centres by a further groove.
Brow Moor Stone 5b
Stone 5b at NZ96460132. An incomplete oval groove (note the gap on the left hand side above) encloses a cluster of 17 or 18 cups towards the edge of this stone. There are also several possible cups or natural weathered depressions elsewhere on the surface.
Brow Moor Stone 5o
Stone 5o at NZ96440136. This stone looks a little dubious to me. Chappell & Brown record this as having a cross formed by a pair of grooves but in the photo above the groove that runs from lower left to upper right appears natural to me. While the upper left grooves looks carved it appears offset from the groove to the lower right which may be a natural marking that has been enlarged. Just below this are three suspicious scratch marks that look to have been caused by a metallic object. My foot at bottom left provides scale.
